When you set the "Motors Off" signal to True system is going to Motors Off state. If signal is False and apply to Motors on signal to True going to Motor On state. Please check signal is False before apply to motor on in PLC side.

Blink reason is you are using "Motor On" state for Motor on lamp. You can change state to "Motor On State" in system output, it is not blinking.

From what I know of Synchronous Reluctance motors, I don't think you can run them without a VFD UNLESS there is basically no load on them. ABB seems to specifically state that SynRM motors are run with VFDs. Reuland seems to say their SynRM motors can be connected DOL but they may have a special rotor construction that allows that. All I can really say is contact ABB and see what they say.
